Emily knew in her first year of law school that she wanted to be a family law attorney, as she wanted to help families navigate the changing dynamics in their marriages, their finances, and with their children. Emily’s practice focuses on a wide range of family law matters, including divorces and property disputes, complex child-custody, child-custody modifications, enforcements, and appeals. In every case, Emily is candid, empathetic, and practical, providing clients with thorough advice so that they are empowered to make well-informed decisions for themselves and their families. Emily works to resolve cases and conflicts collaboratively, but she is also a skilled advocate who is prepared to zealously represent her clients in the courtroom.

Emily graduated from the University of Texas School of Law with Honors, and she has solely practiced family law ever since. During law school, Emily worked as a student attorney with the Children’s Rights Clinic for a semester, a clinical program that represents children in CPS cases. Emily was also a staff editor on the Review of Litigation for a year, where she discovered her passion for complex legal research and legal writing. In her practice as an attorney, Emily enjoys working on family law cases with complex issues, allowing her to utilize her strong legal research and legal writing skillsets.

Emily is an Austin native, and she loves all the unique, interesting, and weird, opportunities that Austin has to offer. In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying new restaurants in the Austin area.
